Real $ HU handicapping contest, Why isn't there a site?

Always have wondered why there is no daily handicapping contest site you can play for real money, so instead of betting at a sportsbook you can play in either a multi contest or Heads Up contest, Say I wanna play Johnny HU we both buy in for $110 site takes fee and we play for the $200.

Now I don't no how you would do it say you wanted to play strictly NHL or NBA or NFL or you could do one with multi sports, where you pick 5 games and the spreads, And you could have different buy in amount ranging from $5 bucks to $5,000.

I think a lot of guys would do it because lets be honest majority of guys are losing money throughout the year at least this gives them a chance to handicap against Bill from California and the bettor capper that day wins, instead of betting Bulls -3 and them winning by 2 and you lose your bet here it would go towards how close you came in the 5 games you picked the spreads in to determine who the winner would be.

(Yes I know I'm crazy) just a random late night thought, wanted to see how others felt about it.

What? What are you talking about scam? You can say that about any site that comes up, There 100000% would be demand for it, you would be handicapping other people instead of the books, Without a doubt there would be a market for that, And you would keep track of each players record over time and how much they won etc. Its basically like Derbywars & Horsetourneys but for sports bettors instead of horse racing, they aren't betting into the pools they are betting against one another, Horsetourneys is HUGE and there is a way way way bigger market for sports betting than horses.

Depends on how high the limits go...Cause you dont need to beat the book you need to beat another guy so it basically comes down to even more ego, everyone thinks they are a better handicapper then the next guy, here you can prove that, the cream rises to the top.

Not in Sportsbetting because you’re betting a generic number in a contest which makes it random

Maybe they’re also is not a market for it

I actually think it's a valid idea. One of the problems w/ H2H bets is that you are giving the other guy Credit. Doing it on a 3rd party vendor is a valid idea.

I no you were busting my balls lol, I think it's a good idea as well, And I think if it was available it would do well and catch traction quickly.

In all honesty, I am asking fellow SBR members is this a good idea? I mean I have had this idea for multiple years, I truly think it could be big, not only does it give you the rush like a sports bet but it gives you the rush for your ego, we all think we are better than the next handicapper, well you can prove it here, Not only that but in the long run you wouldn't spend as much money but still get the same if not better rush out of it.

99.1% of all bettors aren't sharp anyway, so I'm not worried about that in the least. and actually if you had high enough games the sharps with out a doubt would play on the site, just like horstourneys.com the sharpest horse racing bettors in the country are playing there, do they still bet over the counter or online in the pools yes, but they still play in the contest.
