Thanks, laker! Been watching the Bucks for a long time. Honestly wasn't sure this would ever happen.

Don Nelson and those 80's Bucks teams were the epitome of always a bridesmaid, never a bride. Would have loved to see them make at least one NBA Finals. As far as today's Bucks go, it's so refreshing to see loyalty and trust get rewarded. Giannis stayed true to the team that took the chance on him, and rewarded a fanbase that in most cases would not have been able to celebrate a championship in today's super team, big city NBA.

I was just walking, thought about some others:

*Brian Winters: the best long-range shooter I saw back then.
*Bridgeman: the consummate 6th-man. Instant Offense, and the guy made a MINT on his fast-food franchises.

Exactly, KLC. Won 7 straight Division titles under Nellie/Moncrief. Always had to go thru PHI and/or BOS. Made the Eastern Finals 3x, but couldn't break thru. In many ways, a forgotten team when you think about the players on those teams.

Remember when the Bucks had 3 first round picks back in the late 70’s and drafted Kent Benson, Quinn Buckner, and Ernie Grunfeld. Or, when they used a first round pick on Jerry “ice” Reynolds which proved to be one of the biggest busts in Bucks history. Also, Dirk Nowitzki drafted by the Bucks and then traded before he played a second

Salud, pal. Really have to go back to find the Milwaukee championships.

Packers don't really count. Green Bay is 120 miles to the north. But the Packers used to play several games in Milwaukee.

Have to go back to a young Lew Alcindor to find the other Buck title. Salud, Lew!
