    problem is when a team is always losing qb's chuck a lot into dime coverages. so they lose the game but end up with 300+ yards. however yes even trevor will run a lot. injury at some point is likely. what book was this?

    It’s a bad bet because Jacksonville has no defense, he will be throwing 40-50 times a game and a lot of his throws will likely be against soft zone

    4200 yards would have put him in 10th place last year.

    Will Jax be changing the offense?

    Gardner Menshew played 9 games, starting 8 of them, completing 66% of his passes for 2259 yards last year.
    In 2019 he played in 14 games, starting 12 of them, completing 60% for 3271 yards.

    Last year Mike Glennon played and started in 5 games, 62%, 1072 yards.

    Menshew and Glennon together threw for more than 3300 yards last year.

    What's the plan for Trevor? Last two years Jax averaged 2.6 and 2.8 sacks given up per game, not the best not the worst.

    Watson led the league last year in yards but was sacked 49 times, I think only Wentz was worse with 50 sacks.

    I am going to say there is no chance a sportsbook is offering that number. Less than half the teams in the league exceeded that ratio of passing yards. Jaguars were below that. Fewer than half the league QBs even survive a full season.

    Passing + rushing yards maybe.

    Sounds like some fantasy projection some guy just pulled out of the sky.

    What ratio? Far better than just the stat of pass yards, we can use ratios with the pass yards and all kinds of other stats to make more valuable metric than just pass yards alone.

    I was going to add more stats and some ratios to this thread.

    Did you have specifc ratio with pass yards in mind? Genuinely curious here.

    You need to be in a gameplan conducive to success.

    You can have the greatest QB and greatest receivers ever to play, but if all you do is hand off because the defense is playng for the pass every time and keying in your stars, then stats aren't coming.

    Mahomes is a great example, without Andy Reid and his OC's, the story is written differently.

    All too often people over rate the players and underrate the play callers.

    Look at Joe Burrough, he had the skill to do what the offensive coordinators asked of him. They wouldn't have asked a lesser QB to do the same. They would have changed the game plan. Because Joe pulled it off, the player gets drafted high, and the play callers start getting job offers.

    So it's up to Jax to set Trevor up for success, then it's up to Trevor to capitalize.

    tough to throw over 225 a game in NFL. even if behind all game. which is unlikely as division wont be that good and their overall schedule not the tough
