    These NBA totals are insane

    Just looking at the late NCAA and NBA games and tomorrows openers.

    The Portland game about to tip off is 243.
    Ridiculous, but it'll probably cover.

    The Brooklyn game tomorrow that opener is over 240.

    Makes me miss the defensive teams i watched when I was a kid when defense meant something.

    Yeah, the product is nothing like it used to be.
    I used to like watching Rodman bruising his knees and elbows on the floor sliding for a loose ball when I was a kid.

    There's 40 points already after 6 minutes in this Portland game.

    Even though that pace won't continue that's 80 points per quarter, 320 points (which would be a record) for the game.

    320 point pace for the love of God,. You can't sustain that for 4 quarters but you get my point.

    I had this over. 243.5. When Portland scored 12 in the 2nd quarter I wanted to throw up. I was popping champagne in the first quarter and writing my suicide note in the second quarter

    A lot of it is teams don’t put much effort into defense, but guys are just so good at shooting now. Go watch some NCAAB and then watch some NBA. Guys don’t miss much in NBA. I’ll watch games and teams will combine hit like four or five threes in a row in just a few minutes.

    I have gotten burnt it seems always in the last Qtr. They score a ton going into the 4th and may only need 39 for the Win and they end up losing because all of a sudden noone can make a penetrating basket after scoring the first 3 Qtrs non stop . This has happened a bunch of times.
