Don't know if you remember but lakerboy has other threads like this and I'm too tired right now to find. Like Messi will never win the World Cup or Aaron Rodgers will never go to the playoffs again. Some of them are more than 10 years old and did not age well.

Should never, ever have won the first one, down 10 in the fourth quarter, 3rd and 18, and SF lets Hill get behind the defense for a punt prayer throw for a first down that turned the game. Plus, Shanahan abandoning the run the series before up 10.
Second one, gets blown out by Tampa.
Third one, easily could have lost without the Hurts fumble/return TD and late gift PI call.
KC coulda woulda shoulda lost before now too.
But winners find ways to win anyway.
That's the advantage Mahomes brings with him.

Same with Brady. He should have lost more Superbowls but him being Brady was able to win most of them at the end. This is the difference between the greatest and the greats in NFL.
NE won a Super Bowl not because of Brady(sitting on the bench) but because Pete Carroll made one of the dumbest calls in SB history.
They had beast mode in his prime, one of the most physical running backs in nfl history. game stats for marshawn lynch was 24 carries for the game, 4.3 yards per carry, and they were on the 1 yard line.
and looking back it was 2nd down and they had a timeout. that clues me in to i think pete carroll thought if there was in int they could run beast mode twice. if that makes any sense.

But really Atlanta was even worse. You two guys, Quinn and Shanahan, go brain dead in the fourth quarter, in addition to Matt Ryan, who could have adjusted those dumb play calls when ATL was in FG range up 8 with 4 minutes left. Really incredible.

This is very true.
I could not believe that they did what they did. One dumb call after another. And not an after the play dumb call, they were dumb to even think about calling. Incredible indeed.
