Joke of a “hall” now...large % of this list isn’t deserving. This famed group is so watered down now

He should be in the discussion but not sure he will get in. I do remember he had a shitload of interceptions in his day.

Ask Off Coord about LButler. Guy was a handful. Unusual safety blitz that drove opponent crazy, had to be game-planned for.

I was very close to listing him. Lost his legs later on. Didn't have great longevity.

I marked Boselli. He was like Terrell Davis and Sterling Sharpe. Ultra-productive, but injuries precluded him from long career.

Same. he will 100% get in at some point, not sure if he is 1st ballot. Would not be shocked either way.

Manning and Woodson should be locks. The rest could well split the votes up so that no one else gets in.

As a Detroit Lion you have to be an all time great to get in because winning big games won’t be part of your resume. And most of your stats will be in vain in losing efforts. Its extra hard to get in as a career Lion. Lots of garbage time stats and very few if any playoff wins versus contemporaries who make the playoffs every year or super wins and appearances. Matthew Stafford will face the same fate if he doesn’t get himself traded from Motown.

Not with other WRs on that list.

Holt has 2 more years, better stats and 10 playoff games + a ring.

    Wayne same thing.

Johnson has 1 playoff game and a great 3 year stretch...but is just a stat accumulating machine on a horrible team

Boseli maybe the best of all time, if Gale Sayers and Terrell Davis in he should be in.

He was very good and probably will get in at some point but the best of all time? That is a stretch.

Woody and Peyton locks. Time for Butler to get in - Member of the Pro Football HOF 1990's All-Decade team - Only CB from that team not yet in the Hall. Throw in the All-Pros, Pro Bowls, and Super Bowl and he's due!

Nobody has mentioned Faneca. He should get in eventually he was a 9 time pro bowl and 6 time all-pro.

    Manning
    Johnson
    Matthews
Boselli if seven years is enough (I say no)

Why Johnson over Wayne or Holt?

The other 2 have better stats, more rings and equal "best of" years.

Rings mean nothing, it's a team game.
Stats don't tell everything, especially in football.

I don't like Johnson in the hall but probably over Wayne. Johnson was better at peak the other two guys were #2 receivers where Johnson faced a lot of double.

Geez, Wayne is top 10 in NFL history in receptions AND yards and has more TDs than Johnson and Holt.

    That's HOF stuff...either at wr1 or wr2
