BOSTON (CBS) – Tom Brady continues to prove he’s doing just fine at 43 years old. On Sunday, he can earn himself more than $500,000 as a result.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter broke down a variety of contract incentives players around the league can reach during Week 17.

Among them was the former Patriots quarterback, who has put together a strong first season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

If Brady remains in the Top 5 in the NFL for passing yards by the end of the regular season, Brady will earn a $562,000 incentive. Entering Tampa’s matchup against the Falcons, Brady currently sits at No. 5.

Yeah, he'll be the backup for the pat's. Stidham isn't the answer and they know that, and after 11 years as a back up, Hoyer is done. They will need someone who knows the system a little bit, albeit a very little.

In the words of Aaron Rodgers...R-E-L-A-X.

Belichick is just fine...Every team has to rebuild after a dynastic run.

Brady lost 5 of his last 9 games in New England...

The team tuned into shit while Brady was still at the helm...

in the regular season and playoffs Bill Belichick is 248-75 with Brady as the starter and 25-27 with anyone else in his time with the Patriots.

Remember Bill Belichick with the Browns without Tom Brady, looked just like the Patriots this year

agreed. many people will believe that it was more Brady. the patriots lost much of their defense, newton was poor, edelman was injured and so was their OL.

before the season, if I had to quantify the weight by both bellicheck and brady, I would say it was 80 20 bellicheck. that has not changed much. people forget that tampa is VERY talented team, and while brady defied the odds at 43 and had a very good year, I suspect many QBS take tampa to at least 10 wins.

Tom Brady in 1st yr. w/out Bill Belichick: 10-5. Playoffs with Bucs' team hadn't made playoffs in 13 years.

Belichick 8 yrs. w/out Brady: 61-71, .462 win pct. 1 playoff trip in 8 years.

Rex Ryan 8 yrs. w/out Brady: 61-66 .480 win pct. 2 playoff trips.

    Just the facts.

quit sucking the rooster of a 43 who didn't do shit but beat up on all the non-playoff opponents he faced while looking suspect, poor and outright bad against the better defenses he faced.

who did they face to end their season again? atlanta, lions and atlanta....

only playoff opponent in his division went 2-0 against Tampa

how many wins did Carolina have again?

their best win was early in the season being the first hiccup for the Packers and the defense got that blowout setup early with a pick 6 followed up with more short fields for Brady

and he's only doing it with lots of steroids at his age, only reason he hasn't suffered a bad injury yet is because everytime he gets pressured he throws the ball up for grabs for anyone or tries to throw it as he starts to crumble away from the incoming hits because he is scared.... because he is playing at 43 years old

don't give him enough weapons you saw what he can't do anymore... how did that final patriot playoff game go again?

now its brady so of course he gets a playoff game against a sub 500 team... because of course

he better retire in shame if he loses to a 7-9 "playoff" team that is there only due to how the NFL uses divisions

hope they win and go on to green bay so everybody gets there stupid Brady Rodgers playoff game and hope green bay wins by 50

so if Eric Mangini was the head coach from the time Brady came to the Pats, they would be that good??

maybe you are forgetting who gave the Pats their jumpstart when they were a sh*t team, Drew Bledsoe, that's who.

and if he doesn't get hurt, who knows how good Brady would have been.

He's a big part of their success, but every piece needs to fit, including who they draft, free agent signings, etc.

    That's why it's a Team sport

almost any other name but Newton, and they most likely would have had a winning season.
because even with all of their injuries this past season, they still went 7-9 with Cam

It’s pretty clear at this point that Belichick needed Brady alot more than Brady needed him

Guess we can put Brady vs Belichick debate to bed

Especially if Arians gets Brady hurt by insisting on throwing it 30 yards downfield 50% of the time irregardless of game flow.

Tom Brady officially ended the debate for who was most responsible for the Patriots dynasty — he or Belichick

It wasn't a debate to anyone who has paid attention.

Belichick has coached 8 seasons without Brady and has 6 losing seasons

Brady is in a class of his own. Even the coach doesn't matter. He was the man in Michigan's last big Bowl win too. Orange Bowl against a stacked Alabama team.
