Gambling Digital Products & Value, e.g domain names

I owned some domains in the past. I sold some for profit, sold some for losses. Some I just let expire. Currently own some now which I bought earlier this year after after a long hiatus of buying and selling.

One thing I’ve never done and for the most part has always been my initial intent was develop one. Closest I’ve ever got to developing was a domain I once owned in past was ScamdiCappers(dot)com’er (was to be an info website/forum of the many scam boiler room operations which were booming at the time) which I thought at the time was a home run until I really learned the hard way that just because it was an excellent play on words Google Analytics only cared of exact keyword(s) for SEO rankings.

My question is aside from the .com boom itself is it fair to say in light of so many changes recently including the many U.S States and evening the Fed lightening up since The Safe Harbor Act which at the time I thought killed all hopes for at least every U.S Citizen. Now is the best time to re-enter the digital market no matter what niche in the gambling industry? Is there a new supply/demand which changes value(s)?

I moved house recently and found a box full of thousands of domain name registration invoices from over 20 years ago.

In early days Network Solutions would let you register as many domains as you liked for free and then sent you an invoice. It took about 3 months before you had to pay or it would be cancelled.

Anything that got any type in traffic pay for and resell or develop.

    Was a fun time.

Is it that domains are dead or better to say .com doesn’t carry as much (if any) more weight over other extensions because of apps?

    For example:

    wagering.win
    wagering.systems

I bought these because I figured having an app on top of a website and would be equally beneficial and would compliment one another.

Plus, their keyword and extension(s) is easy to remember and brandable (in my honest opinion at least.)

Or maybe my grandfather was always right telling me I had “pipe dreams”. Who know?
