I know it's hard to watch a great city like Los Angeles win championship after championship. Maybe next year pal.

Howard was 4-6 on threes this year. Hill made the last bucket actually so they couldn't say Lakers won by 16 exactly in the middle of Kobe's 2 numbers.

Remember that aspy load management motherfukker strung the Lakers along for like 5 days after free agency officially started holding them hostage. Rob Pelinka had to go to plan 2/3/4/5 to fill out the roster. Boogie Cousins went down and Pelinka signed Dwight Howard who NOBODY wanted. Remember Jason Kidd was just waiting in the wings to take over for Vogel; nobody thought he could coach this team.

    All wrong.

Weakest run to a role in NBA history, the best team they beat was Houston with a 6-7 center, the Clippers were the Clippers and a healthy Heat team were the only teams that could have challenged them, and the Heat were never close to healthy.

Spoelstra blew game 6 playing Dragic way too much.

Dwight Howard barely even played in the finals, this Laker team was never tested. The Heat were hurt and the Clippers weren’t motivated or in shape.

I really think Grizzlies would of beat them in the first round too if Winslow, Jackson and Jones did not go down.

Get used to it fellas, Bron and AD will be doing this in LA for awhile. Who's gonna beat them - the Nets? The Clippers?

    I don't think so.

Some are mad because the clippers were losers and didnt make it to the final .

People were choosing blazers adark horse
Some where saying they don't want to face rockets
Then they thought the nuggets would knock them off

The fact is, no matter who the Lakers would have faced, it would be the same outcome and you all would be making excuses.

The Heat got dominated when they were at full strength so thank god they got hurt and made an effort. Game one and 6 were an absolute bludgeoning. I also said nothing about Howard playing in the finals. The point was about Pelinka putting together championship roster after that bum went to the CLips.

You play who is in front of you.

The Clippers are ALWAYS THE CLIPPERS. They have the stain of Donald Sterling on them forever. Just think about this - they were up 3-1 AGAIN and lost against a Denver team that frankly wasn't very good. 13 times in the history of the NBA has a team lost with a 3-1 advantage and the Clippers did it twice. Their coach got fired and here we are again talking about how bad they shit the bed.

Guy is great, but aside from the Cleveland years I'm not impressed by "buying" titles in California and Florida.

These titles Lebron is accumulating are KILLING the NBA in small markets.

    He may kill the sport

Team really was not very good, Davis+ Jrue, Gordon, Anderson did not sniff a title. So Lebron way better than all those guys combined that is impressive. Cleveland only was able to win because he left and allowed them to win the lottery 3 times to stockpile talent the Laker title way more impressive. Especially given he is almost 36 years old.

    Fellow black man Jason Whitlock

LeBron James is Black Trump,” Whitlock said in his column for Outkick prior to Game 5 of the NBA Finals. “LeBron fashions himself as a dignified statesman, role model, political activist and champion of racial equality. He is every bit as crude, undignified, and inarticulate as our sitting president. James writes and speaks at a third-grade level. The athletic privilege he’s enjoyed since about age 10 has spoiled and pampered him the same way wealth privilege spoiled and pampered President Trump.”

Whitlock went on to say that James is neither Michael Jordan nor Muhammad Ali.

You can’t be Jordan, the GOAT of basketball, when your primary job is to increase the popularity of your sport and you have failed,” Whitlock wrote. “LeBron has diminished the NBA domestically. His descent into politics and full-on embrace of Black Lives Matter have devastated the game. He extinguished the TV-ratings torch he inherited from Jordan. The league that had dreams of matching the NFL’s relevancy is now toxic, polarizing, and reliant on rigged Twitter algorithms for traction."

LeBron and AD are the catalysts and everyone else is window dressing, much like the rest of the 90's Bulls other than Jordan and Pippen. Take away AD and they might but probably don't repeat, take away LeBron and there's no way they repeat.

Lakers better start trading for draft picks in 2023. LeBron's son will be graduating highschool that year, and league will likely get rid of 1 and done. LeBron's people probably already relaying that to the front office.
