Fellas,
William Hill Nevada has basically been holding $3,000 of my bankroll for about 6 weeks now. The net-net is I didn't update my "monthly deposit" limit in time for football and it was set at $5k and I exceeded the monthly limit by the $3k. The kiosk/book then essentially "ate" my money and spit out a receipt that said "Call William Hill". When I did I was told I would receive a check within 10 days. This was on 9/1/20.
What is frustrating is I have called them 10 times the last month and basically have been given the runaround. I called them again on 10/1/20 and was told if I don't receive it by Friday, 10/3/20 then call again. Well-well-well... I called them yesterday and the guy said he is looking into it and will call me back. Never called. I called today and they can't seem to find any record of the kiosk eating the cash, there is no check, etc... etc... I have had to escalate it to get a call back. Supposedly- they are looking into it. I know a couple people higher up over there so I will see what I can do but this is a lesson for me and all. As these books roll across the country and open up kiosks, etc.. we need to be cautious about how we deposit, our limits and really understand their rules. It's only $3k but come on right?! We will see if I ever get the cash again. I liked WH because they have better lines but I will go back to playing exclusively at Circa/BetMGM. Just frustating.
JJ, as we see more and more books go into states and the laws evolve/rules for books evolve we should get a section in here for onshore/offshore or however we want to put it so players fully understand. Shame on me for not knowing the fine print. Anyway- rant over.
