No one cares, they aren’t flying in commercially and no one practices much in pads anymore.

Well they did the same before the Philly game didn't they? And they even played MNF. Yet they murdered them. Never understood this east west coast travel angle.

The NFC West is 7-1, with the 1 loss occurring in a division game between the 49ers & Cardinals.

The 2002 AFC West is the only other division to combine for a 7-1 record through 2 weeks since realignment, but the division only ended up having 1 playoff team, per

That is not the OPs point. In past years, Rams would have just stayed in the east between games instead of going back and forth.

Yep, which is what the Niners are doing this week, staying on the East Coast.

It takes longer to drive from the airport to Rams stadium in LA traffic. This is no issue. They are not flying in a B17.

That's gonna be a good game.. Rams are tough though.. They have a great offense and play sheet.. Sweep, deep passes, misdirection runs, etc..

I just love the Rams play calling on O.. They get creative and it works. I like the OVER in that game.

    not so fast

The hope in May, when the schedule was released, was that the concern surrounding the coronavirus pandemic would be diminishing by September.

    That isn't the case.

Now, the 49ers may not be allowed to stay on the road for an extended period of time, creating a significant disadvantage for the team, which may have to make back-to-back-to-back-to-back cross-country journeys.

looks like you are right, the 49ers are staying at the Greenbrier in west virginia
I wonder why the Rams couldn't arrange something.

Doesn't look like the 49ers are having the greatest time though

49ers' East Coast road trip has been a disaster from the start

When things are normal, I travel quite a bit for a living. I HATE travel for business. If I can go to a city for one day, knock out all my meetings and be on a plane home that night, sign me up. I am guessing most NFL players who have been in the league for a while feel the same.

Back in the day this was a huge angle. Teams traveling east were horrible against the spread. I'm not so sure how much of an impact it is now, especially not practicing in pads bit??? I'm sure Vegas has a clear way to cap it though.

My head says the Rams roll here but now I'm 2nd guessing?

Just traveling east at one time was a good angle back in the day, even a little in today's world as some teams don't travel well.
But this is more about Back to back travel to the East.

Not even sure how the 49ers got to stay in WV and will travel back to NY when WV is on the New york No travel list.

If San Fran is staying at the GreenBriar I might have them as a must play

the GreenBriar is home to the formerly secret underground bunker that was built to house congress in case of a nuclear war.

The peace of mind that the 49ers will have, knowing that they are so incredibly safe in the event that North korea or Russia drops some nukes on us, will enable them to sleep much better and be sooooo relaxed. I'd say its worth 2.5-3.5 points..

    pound em!
