Stupid bets you know you shouldnt have done but the streak you were on blinded you.

It's really depressing to me. Lately I'll go on streaks and raise my bets and get buried.

FFKKKK! not life breaking money but I could have bought a fuxking grill for that

This year has been brutal in this way. I think I'm on to something but get too risky and throw it all away. I could have had much more vacation money and i just have to take it on the chin that my stupid mistakes I made with chasing lost me a nice chunk of change this year.

Quitting is a viable option for some?
I chose to lower my wager amount and then I didn't sweat as much.
    Better luck.

Transformed sports handicapping into a hobby instead of a way of life.

It doesn't really matter but soccer has been killing me. I bet on everything though and get really streaky.

Clearly need to organize my bets much more if I'm going to keep betting

    Anyways, I'll be back lol

lol. Man I’ve been grinding out one good day after another with soccer (who knew, lol), but then every time I start feeling myself and find one I really like I take a shot and guess what happens? lol.

Driving me crazy feel like I’m so close to flying past a bench mark number then pow I get punched in mouth and right back on the grind just slightly better off from where I started! Rinse and repeat! Going on 3 weeks of almost identical fukkin pattern!! Few times I chased on next match up and luckily pulled it off, today I took a beating tho, right before bases, ugh.

It can be so damn frustrating! I marvel at the guys who can connect when they take big swings, my ass can bat around hitting singles and taking walks but minute I swing for the fences I strike the Fukk out! Lol. Never fails, no matter the sport!!

Stupid bets... your first line. The chase bets are the ones I feel bad about. Try to avoid them and over the last couple years I have. If I feel like I did the right amount of work, research, info seeking, handicapping, etc.. I move on pretty fast from a loss. Things happen. I figure losses can be:

    1. Close losses
    2. Bad beats
    3. Burial losses (meaning the side I’m on had no chance)

#3 probably bothers me the most because the time I spent on the pick. Bad beats suck too but it’s gambling. I can live with #1 and that’s usually the situation. Pack up and go for it another day.

Jay I'm 0-4 yesterday, 1-3 today and not sweating it. I know you have heard it before but it can't be repeated enough. Set aside a bankroll, flat bet 2% and divide your bank among multiple outs so you get the best line.

Its not fun unless it stings when you lose.

The main problem is losing hurts twice as bad as winning feels good.

It comes down to the discipline of money management. If you hadn’t jiggled your bet size, would you be asking the same question?

Would the losses require “dealing“ with or would they just fold into part of the game?

Not all types of losses have the same coping strategy so the answers to key questions are important, if you want to improve.

Yes money management! Bro If u have 1,000 in account it would be stupid to be 100 a game. And if u play on covers that’s even more than 100. Which is 10% of ur bankroll.

    Stick to around 3% man...

Not everyone can be content with 2% bank roll management 20$ pootie wagers unfortunately. When I’m on a hot run my wagers go up significantly. Sometimes I crash and burn and other times I’ve had over 500k in my acct. more often the crash and burn but if you ain’t first your last. Not here to grind out beer money.

when i lose i get depressed and angry. keeps me in a funk for a few days.

i now keep my bets low for my comfort level. but then what happens is i win and then feel like instead of winning $25 on my bets i lost money cause i didn't bet enough on "easy wins" so i bet more and then usually lose though sometimes have won and cashed out. definitely more losing like that than winning. it becomes a cycle.

i need to be stricter with my bets and keep the amounts the same no matter hot or cold.

i am trying something new with sports back. small bets so i don't sweat things and just hoping to win fun money for a vacation or extra for savings and investing. not looking at betting anymore as my get rich quick method.

The way I deal with making stupid losing bets is to evaluate why I'm making those dumb moves. Am I wagering on sports I know or do I just have some plays on because I need the action to watch on tv that night? Did the line maker fool me by putting out a line that seems too easy to not take? Was I on a hot streak and decided that I will never lose again? or was I already on a losing streak and decide that I can't lose forever so lets start doubling up the bet size until I get that winner to get to even?

These are all questions that I ask myself and if I have a answer that would be deemed as a dumb ass move, I try to curtail those decisions by getting hammered up and making more bad decisions anyway.
