Lakers the favorite to sign Markieff Morris

The Los Angeles Lakers have emerged as the front-runner to sign veteran small forward Markieff Morris

Morris appeared in 44 games for the Pistons this season.

In 2018-19, Morris averaged 9.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists while shooting 42.1 percent from the floor, 33.5 percent from the 3-point line and 77.2 percent from the free-throw line. Markieff has career NBA averages of 11.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 623 NBA games.

Deff think he was the better HS player. Wanna say was 6’9-6’10. They both signed at Kansas as they wanted to go to college together.

I'm not sure he'll be of any help to this current Laker team. Lakers already have big men.

Lakers need an all star caliber point guard that can defend and that will close the deal.

Starting to like the Clippers roster more. And I imagine someone is going to sign Cousins. If the Clippers do, Lakers just sealed their fate.

Lakers have a lot of little pieces, but I don't know about quality. They should have dumped Green, Bradley, Rondo, and McGee and gotten 1 legit piece, like Zach Lavine or something. Dwight Howard is 10x better than McGee, there's no need for him. Building an NBA roster is about having 7 quality ass players on it. Lakers have Lebron, Davis, Dwight, Kuzma, and now Morris. They should have cut the rest of the team.

As long as you have Lebron and AD though, you have a chance. No excuses. If AD considers himself a top 5 player, no team has ever lost a finals with 2 of the top 5 players in the world on one team, except for Lebron and Wade in 2011.

AD and James make anything possible

Cousins doesn't fit now since Dwight can play.
