Pete Rose asks for reinstatement again
Pete Rose again asked Major League Baseball to end his lifetime ban, saying the penalty is unfair compared with discipline for steroids use and electronic sign stealing.
Rose agreed to the lifetime ban in August 1989 after an investigation for MLB .
Rose also referenced Manfred’s decision on Jan. 13 to suspend Houston Manager AJ Hinch and GM Jeff Luhnow for one season for their role in the Astros’ use of electronics to steal catchers’ signs in 2017 and 2018 but to not discipline players.

Put Rose back in it. If guys that used Roids are getting HOF ballots, Rose shouldn't be banned from MLB or the HOF.

fukk pete rose. He is a scumbag. If i ever make it to a bash...I can tell you about the many wrongs this p.o.s. did. There is a reason johnny bench has nothing to do with him. There is a reason that fawn has nothing to do with him. Also there is a reason his siblings didn't attend his wedding.
I will tell you a true story about him. His porsche was being worked on in cheviot,ohio. He walks into a bar and says give everyone a drink. He gets ready to leave without paying for the drink. gunny (the guy that owned the bar) says hey you didn't pay for that round. Pete says you don't expect me to pay for it. He proceeds to write a check and tells the guy to NOT cash the check because his autograph because it will be worth more. I have at least 5 other story about this p.o.s.

The problem with pete is he was in management when this happened. He was offered 4 times to settle up but he thought he was bigger than the situation. The allegedly 275,000 cost him millions. Hell his lawyer reuben katz cost him more than that.

If they won't even ban players/management from baseball for the cheating scandals that have happened recently, then they need to put Pete back in. What he did didn't affect the outcome of a World Series.

Exactly! Rose was a drug trafficker. All the people he hung out with at that time went to jail for dealing drugs. Sounds better to not be in the HOF for betting on your own team than being a drug dealer as manager of the Reds.

2- very few "celebrity" personalities ever pay for anything because they are taught their presence in an establishment is worth the tab
Hell, once in MPLS at Mannys I saw Bud Grant and Sid Hartman sit w the check between them for 2.5 hours waiting for the other to pick it up. Funniest thing I ever saw- 2 cheap ass 85 year old men who thought their shit didn't stink playing a game of chicken w the tab lol
