    no, if you've been doing this for long enough you watch till the bet/ticket is officially dead. game over, quarter over, half over... last second gone.

    that's why you should never drink while watching games that you placed bets on

    I would have left it in my wallet or cargo pockets, or maybe my desk drawer, and checked it and graded it sometime after it was resolved. Exactly like every other ticket I've ever bought.
