The Saints are hinting at letting Brees go

I think a great move, the game is changed somewhat and is favoring more of a quarterback that could move

That Hill kid at backup was the best ppayer on the field for them last game. Id give Brees another year but Hill definitely seems like he can be the answer

As a Saints fan I believe they sign Brees to a one year deal.

    Bridgewater goes into free agency.

    Hill is resigned.

3 tough playoff loses 3 years in a row when the expectation was for them to at least make it to the superbowl

I would take Jameis Winston over Drew Brees.

Yeah, at the beginning of the year you predicted they wouldn't even make the playoffs.

They went 13-3 and won the NFC South.

Winston has talent and is getting better.
Brees blew it this year and has issues.

ok thx. agree to disagree. Think Winston threw about 30 picks this year. Age wise yeah maybe winston. but while i agree Winston has talent he will never get to brees level in his prime.

The guys with the rings disagree. We've been hearing this for over a decade.

They don't make Lamars on trees. Even Vick failed.

BTW, let's be clear. Lamar has done nothing yet. Nothing. Let's wait and see. He should with that supporting cast.

It'll probably be a Ravens Niners rematch.

I'd much rather face the Chiefs obviously.

I see them taking one more run with Brees. Multi year deal on paper but in reality just one season. Brees’ arm is shot and Has been for last 3 seasons but roster is pretty solid. Tedy will get offers elsewhere but should stay as future starter. Hill is a change of pace guy, not a full time starter. He is pushing 30 with a long list of major injuries that will keep him from being able to play 16 games while running. He is not a good passer from pocket and was a one read and run qb at BYU.

Dual threat qbs are common in college. Finding ones that can play well in nfl is difficult.

That white boy Hill that is always in at QB running trick plays and what not and is at the WR position now is solid.. When they pull out Brees he always comes in at QB. He can throw the ball too.

These older QB's days are numbered.. Brees can still toss the pig skin though. Brady looking a little suspect in his close to mid 40's now... I would put Brees in that category just yet.. Brees still got game!!!

Cant escape FATHER TIME!!!! Tick tock tick tock and you don't stop!!!

Brees cannot make the deep throws with strength like he used to so their offense is limited. You can stack the box and stop the run or stop the short passes for min gain. Hence why Thomas is getting so many catches. He just has to run 5 to 8 yards and turn around. Kamara less TD's cause it was not as open for him as it was in other years.

Better off letting Hill be their QB. Offense did not look great with Bridgewater.
