A lot of it is the historical results on the Under record in this game plus the weather. Public is too in love with past results without paying attention to the actual statistics of both teams.

the stats for each team do no matter in this game. It's all neutralized by the fact they run almost the exact same offense. If Navy scores 40 pts a game vs everyone else, you can shave 10-14 pts off when they play army or air force. Navy has a very good offense but they will not get those chunk plays vs Army b/c Army knows what they are trying to do. Add to the fact that this game will be no more than 2-3 possessions per quarter. IE Army could get the ball to start the game, run 10 plays, burn 6 mins, and not even be at midfield. That's how this game goes. There just are not enough big plays. Everything is a grind b/c the teams know what each other is trying to do.

For me I like playing service academy games over when they play teams that pass a lot and have a lot of speed. And vs teams that do not see the option all year.

Overreaction or undereaction really doesn't matter. The only thing that matters, obviously, is the final score. According to the stats from this year, I do like the over. But I also think that you cannot disregard the long and storied history of this matchup. It is usually an ugly slugfest. The reason I like the over is because Hawaii lit up Army a couple of weeks ago, and this year's Hawaii team is far from a scoring machine. That being said, I think that Navy needs to score 30+ points for this game to go over. Prediction: Navy 31 Army 14.

Dunno bout winning but I think it be a one score game so not bad price to take a shot on the ml. I rather just put whatever extra I’d play on ml onto the ats play, no sense being greedy. They wanna give us 4 too many points imo, I’ll take them. I’m not a “sharp” tho.

As you should be, both so well versed against the option we don’t tend to see the big plays they get vs other teams. Long clock eating drives some of which don’t even end in points really makes it tough to get over even a pretty low number. I think 38 is prob bout tops here but I been wrong before.
