This past time I renewed my pro status I was able to help out Big Day, one of many cool causes here - as so many have. I don't know him but I have kept track of his story, and his is a bad beat if I have ever seen one. He seems like a great guy and he's been a true soldier about coming back from it.

Felt really good to chip in to the cause of one of the good guys, like him.

As a matter of fact, this is kind of cool.

I was playing 1/2 at one of my favorite casinos, and I went to get some food. Outside the food store there was this bum with a dog. I asked him why he wasn't in a shelter and he said because he loves his dog. His pupils weren't dialated and they didn't veer to a corner of his eye so I could tell he wasn't on drugs or lying to me, and his arm didn't shake so I could tell he wasn't nervous about lying/trying to play me out for money.

So I bought him some lunch.

Then I got back to the casino and hit a high hand bonus for five hundo, so I went back, bought like three dollars of food on a twenty and gave him the change.

Then I get back to the casino and this really hot female player came out to the smoking area just as I did and we had a fun time exchanging our recent success stories.

The whole hting felt like instant kharma to me.

Very cool day.
