Amazon Prime is great. 1 and 2 day free shipping. Great shows and movies. I got Prime so I could watch the show, Bosch. I've read all the books and wasn't disappointed with the show.

I was out west with a couple of friends that got caught in a casino counting, I told them not to juice up the bets so much but they got greedy

Both got their heads blow off via shotgun on site, pit boss said he was making an example out of them

It really isn't anything new. Guy travels around in a motorhome playing blackjack.
Then he changes his appearance by growing a beard, dressing as a cowboy, cutting his hair, all in order to fool casinos which has been tried about 4 gazillion times... Which is exactly why they now have face recognition techniques and can spot fools like this. Oh yeah I forgot he really 'kills" them when he finds a dealer who inadvertently exposes every hole card as the casinos are scratching their heads trying to figure out how he was winning. YEAH RIGHT....

Hasn't been beatable for awhile

Even if you are a savant and could eek out a profit it isn't worth the painful cuts and infections on your hands and fingers from the dealers throwing cards at them because you can't tip them AND stay profitable.

Ive always thought of it like this.....crap best %....they KNOW dealers make mistakes paying and picking up losers and that dealer can have friends......so say 3% loss to mistakes...THEY STILLL CRUSH LOL......same with BJ.......

Jelly explains it all as I'm guessing your 15. I guess it's good to have some young bloods on here who know nothing about what blackjack card counting is ike.
If you haven't heard the same old story many times over regarding black jack and card counting then go ahead and waste an hour and a 1/2 and watch it.

Can learn the game of 21 blackjack which isn't brain science, just learn when to double down, when to hit and not to hit after the cards are delt..

Single deck play is the only way to go if you can count cards without being noticed.. Could get an angle then. Other then that's it's just you against the dealer and luck usually has to come into play then..

How is that so Ronny and proven show me the light? I've played BJ for decades in Vegas when I use go all the time and I do know the game well.

The only other thing I tried to look out for is tables that are jumping which I liked to jump in and REALLY try to avoid the ones that are dead with the Asian dealers dealing the cards..

Kinda like crap tables when jumping in, always wanna jump into the ones that are hot and energized.. Big stacks showing and gamblers look happy and winning...

the "angle" is counting cards to the point where you often have a 5-8% advantage, then betting more when you have a big advantage than you bet when you are at a disadvantage

multiple decks are better because you have more play, at a full table with a single deck you're never gonna get a big enough advantage, that's only 1 hand per shoe that you can jam a big bet on

Not if you are sitting at the end of the table and can see what is being laid down before your cards come.. Come on people!!! It's not rocket science.. I'm not a black jack wiz either but I always held my own at the tables back in the day. I know whats up.. I'm pretty good at math too.

Counting cards has been obsolete now for some 20 years at least. Deck penetration is the reason. They simply do not deal enough of the deck(s) to make card counting effective. Casino's could care less if you count cards. In fact, knock yourself out, you'll never win long term

If you're cutting 10's and aces, that doesn't work anymore either, they simply don't show the cut card anymore.

Bottom line is casino's are not ever going to give the player an edge. If a player finds one it will eventually be taken away.
