Jones will never develop. He came out of a mediocre conference throwing 1 read routes against poor secondaries and he's Turbinsky light.

You can't coach ball control or awareness. Kid taking sacks when he needs to throw it away, throwing picks when he needs to throw it away.

Those are things average college QBs understand, he's halfway thru an NFL season and has arguably the best offensive mind as a coach. If Shurmer can't get the kid straight noone can- Shurmer made Keenum look like Montana.
