Not sure Cincy made it nearly as obvious as Miami though right Tony?

I think we'll know more once we see how they handle the return of AJ Green and if they even try to use him as in the past

Bengals have had injuries and aren't trading players, no comparison.

Bengals starting tackles have missed most of the season and green was out too. They've played hard.

We should find out more about Miami this week, when they host the Jets. The Fish have scored 77 points this season. The Jets have managed just 78. The Miami defense is live a siv, giving up 238 points already this season. The Jets defense has only given up 185. Other than the return match in New York in December (one of two straight games the Fish will play in Met Life Staduim), this may be the best chance Miami has of getting a win.

Cincinnati is more like a normal terrible NFL team. They have scored 124 points while giving up 210. The good news is that they go to Miami just before Christmas. The loser probably gets a much needed Christmas gift, that being the #1 pick in the 2020 NFL draft.

Why would miami tank when they have a million first round picks? Cincy never tanks they just stanks. Glad I got rid of season tickets.

The Bengals have a history of winning junk games when they are already out of the playoffs and screwing themselves out of a top pick. They need to lose every game (including against Miami) and get Chase Young in the draft. They might get him with the 2nd pick as Miami will probably take Tua.

3 first rounders out of 14 total picks, but I understand your point
it's hard to phantom that any Pro team would be tanking, but they're not going out there saying, let's lose this game
more like the higher ups making enough moves to not put a winning team on the field

some teams in the past were seen as tanking when in fact they just had their elite QB go down and had horrible backups and small defensive teams who would be worn out by the 3rd Q after being asked to be on the field a lot more than they were designed to be since the Elite QB was out and scoring went down and a lot more 3 and outs/turnovers

but that 3rd and 20 was the most blatant tank call I've seen in years, guess they didn't trust if Steelers could comeback if they were down 14-3 at half
