    Errol Spence Jr charged with DWI in connection with high-speed accident

    • Police said Spence, who was on his way home from a nightclub, was intoxicated and speeding at the time of the crash
    • The crash happened just before 3am on October 10 when Spence's Ferrari crossed the median into oncoming traffic and flipped over several times
    • Spence, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time, was hurled from the car and landed on the sidewalk
    • The 29-year-old was rushed to hospital to be treated for facial lacerations
