Who else wants to see Cardinals/Yankees World Series?

Would be a classic matchup of two storied franchises and true fan blades. Huge Yankees fan here and would love to see this tilt.

No use for Washington, fukk Tampa and doesn't seem like Houston's year.

This matchup would be a lot of fun and hotly contested.

Yeah its been long enough with out the Yanks. As a fan it is about time they were in the series. Would also
help with the ratings being such a huge market in all.

Cole pitches Tonite. His last start he had like 66 fantasy points as captain. Which is off scale. Houston should advance Tonite then Yanks will have to face Verlander, Cole, grienske as the away team. Will be hard for Yankees to make WS on paper. Ditto for cards. Nats have better team on paper. I'd say Astros vs nats WS With Astros winning in gm 7 in Houston. I could be wrong. There has been sum big upsets so far in mlb. Consensus is nats did a monster upset of dodgers.

If it was all abut ratings, they would not bother to even televise these games. The Yankees against the Nats at least give a chance for decent East Coast ratings. NO one gives a crap about the Midwest teams or Florida teams.

it could never be even close to the 1964 world series between these two. there is no bullet blazing bob gibson on the cards roster to shut down the vaunted "64" yankees like he did. there is no crippled mickey mantle in cf who the cards had a field day running on in that series. everyone in the country was glued to their sets for those afternoon world series games that year. this year not many will be awake to see the late innings if they clash.

I don't care who is in it.

I won't even watch most of it.

I just want to bet it (and more than likely lose).

Jack flaherty is on his way to being the next great cardinals pitcher. Unfortunately I don’t think rest of the staff has much chance vs their lineup.

dude the Yankees line-up is easy to pitch to

strike out prone and all righties

you are not giving the Cards staff enough credit

    Waino
    Flaherty
    Hudson
    Mikolas

all 4 are sick as fukk

and now you add Wacha to the bullpen????

Did you see the at bats they put together vs the Twins? That lineup is mentally exhausting to pitch to. They may be strikeout prone but that doesn't mean it comes easy for the opposing pitcher. Every guy in that lineup is a homerun threat and the opposing pitcher is probably not going more than 5ip with the amount of pitches they see at the plate.

Sadly I agree. Interestingly enough I think nats would have a better chance w the 3 aces but I don’t think they will get by cards. Styles make fights as they say. I don’t think nats can mask their pen in a 7 game series like they were able to in a 5!! But other than flaherty cards starters will get rocked by yanks or Stros! Lol

Got $25 to collect $62 on Astros winning it all. Probably chump change for most of you, but I’m hoping they pull it off. That being said, I see a lot of value on Nationals at +200. Their pitching is phenomenal.

I got 30 to win 1280 on nats. Wish Stros weren’t so damn expensive or I would prob bet it all on them, lol. No point to only get freaking 600 something back tho. Letting it ride and hoping nats dream run continues!!
