    Parlaying spreads and over/unders

Shouldn’t the favorite be more likely to cover if more points are scored, and the underdog more likely to cover if less points are scored?

Always thinking about those combos. Also there are some games where small point afford favorite one team and the opposite

Got one example from NBA. Houston Rockets duoble digit spread and over 2xx + . It is quite likely that this team if scoring well will cover as well as game to go over. +280 shows plenty of value to me

That’s a theory but so is the theory that the favorite is more likely to cover if the dog scores very few points. Meaning less points scored. Parlays are entertaining, not often profitable.

Tennessee beat UTEP last year 24-0 and Charlotte 14-3. I doubt that either of those wins was enough to cover the spread. (UTEP had gone 0-12 in 2017 so they were probably 40+ point underdogs.)

In general, a massive rout needs the favorite to score a lot of points more than it needs the underdog to not score points.

Books won't allow coorelated parlays. Betonline especially. 5 dimes a little more generous

5Dimes allows you to parlay side and total for most games. They even let you do it for 1st and 2nd half.

Saying parlays are for suckers completely misses the point.

If you're a winning bettor with an edge, then your parlays also have an edge. After all, a parlay is just a sequence of bets. Variance is higher though since you're betting higher odds.

Parlay cards with predetermined odds can be a different story but most offshore books give you true odds on multibets
