KC will win Super bowl this year

Not even Brady and the bunch will stop them. I am pats fan all the way, but no one will touch the Chiefs this year. It is there year.

yeah I feel like they had their chance last year and blew it.

Everything was set up perfect for them last year

it’s no guarantee that they will get home field advantage throughout the playoffs again

Chargers were 4-0 without Gordon last year and have the best roster top to bottom in the division, maybe the entire NFL.

Kc will win 12 games this season, 1 offside play away from beating the patriots last season.

Stop bitchin' and moanin' about last season. Reid is terrible when it comes to winning playoff games. He is 2-5 at Kansas City. 1-3 at home in playoff games. His defense is total crap. Mahomes has a huge target painted on him this season.

Show me this "very difficult" schedule. 4 automatic wins against the Raiders and Bronco's. They get the AFC South with INDY and Houston at home. They get the NFC North with Green Bay and Minny at home. And you think that is a tough schedule? Both Oakland and Denver have tougher schedules.

I thought Rivers played at such a high level last year. Don't know if he can duplicate it again??? He's fun to watch though.

It's only preseason, but Andy Dalton and a bunch of no name receivers walked the ball down the field on them with no resistance last night. Again, only preseason but their defense isn't going to be any better than last year and it will have to be much better to win.

Division games are not automatic. You forgot the bears, Steelers and Titans all on the road. Jags as well. They will lose one of the gb/min games as well maybe both. Two games vs chiefs. 8-8 team maybe 9-7.

Chargers exposed them during playoffs last season. Expecting teams to start 5 DBs on defense to jam them.

Rams open in Carolina, which should be a great game to take the host. Listed right now at Panthers +3, but let's hope the public drives that number up. All indications are Newton is healthy and if that's true, Carolina may win their division.

    How do you figure?

Gordon's possible departure isn't a big factor, but the team has a middling O-line, and the secondary still is questionable outside Hayward and James. Let's not forget injury prone players like Perryman and Okung weren't replaced.

The Chargers were lucky to go 9-0 outside of LA, prior to losing at Foxboro. I highly doubt that will happen again. That also means they went 4-4 in California (including a "road" loss to the Rams), primarily because they don't have a fan base - finishing dead last in the NFL in 2018 attendance by a wide margin. That's not going to change either, so teams that travel well such as Denver, Pittsburgh and Green Bay will enjoy playing in front of plenty of their own fans when they travel to Dignity Health Sports Park.

Let's also look at some of the 2018 Chargers wins:

    Week 4: 29-27 over the 49ers, that's a 2 point win over CJ Beathard!
Week 7: 20-19 over the Titans in London, where Tennessee opted to go for 2 instead of going to OT.
Week 9: 25-17 over the Seahawks, Seattle ended the game running out of time on a first and goal.
Week 13: 33-30 over the Steelers on SNF, a very sketchy ending that saw the Steelers block two Badgley FG attempts only for the refs to call penalties - one justified and one clearly fixing the contest.
Week 14: 26-21 over the Bengals, Jeff Driskel started for Cincy.
Week 15: 29-28 over the Chiefs, LA had a last second TD and successful 2 point conversion.

I'm not saying the Chargers didn't deserve to win those 6 games, but that's a lot of good fortune - especially for a team with a history of the exact opposite. If they go 3-3 in those types of games in 2019, they'll regress back to 9-7, which is where I have them pegged this year.

As for the Chiefs, their offense should be every bit as potent as last year. Mahomes is clearly one of the top QBs in the NFL, they drafted Mecole Hardman as a Hill insurance policy, traded for Frank Clark and Alex Okafor and are switching to a 4-3. Will that be successful? I don't know, but I'd be shocked if they didn't at least win the AFC West.

I analyzed the Chargers in excess above, Flacco already looks checked out on a Denver team that had a ceiling of 7 wins to begin with and Oakland is a joke for at least another year.

I like Kansas City's chances to go all the way, or at least reach the Super Bowl, only to fall in hilariously ironic fashion to the Eagles.

Could happen, apparently nfl wants it to happen, only explanation for them not suspending hill. They have suspended a bunch of guys for a lot less that for damn sure.,

If luck is healthy the colts might have something to say about it.

As much as defense has been devalued it still hard for me to like a team who’s defense is as terrible as the chiefs looks like it gonna be!!!
