So what does it mean my Bitcoin is pending at Coinbase? BOL sending fake amounts?

I don't know so I am honestly asking. This like a bounced check?

Exchanges generally require 3-6 confirmations on the bitcoin network before the bitcoin is available for spending. It shouldn't take too long, but yes, reader feedback suggests using an intermediary wallet is a better way to stay more anonymous prior to selling at an exchange.

if after you get the money, they might start asking questions... better come back and let posters in the know tell you how to proceed (not me)

optional usually has bitcoin info locked down

you will lose a few dollars transferring to blockchain first, but atleast you are safe

you need to do this while depositing via bitcoin as well

    GOOD LUCK

Coinbase always takes a while pending.

I'm kinda getting tired if it and looking to move on from them, as well as their fees, but just don't want to go through the trouble of getting established elsewhere.

Signed up for SHAKEPAY. Works with debit cards or interac e-transfe. Have yet to try it out but its a Canadaian exchange/wallet where we can move money offshore and receive without the government gettin panties in a knot.

"Blocks" confirm transactions and produce new bitcoin into circulation. A "block" is discovered every 10 minutes roughly. However, it is random when a block is found. Sometimes 3 in 5 minutes, sometimes none in an hour.Typically you need 3-6 blocks confirmations before an exchange will add a balance.

Once you see it pending in an exchange, for example, when you made this post, its basically yours, in an hour or two. No one can reverse the transaction essentially (it can but thats a rabbit hole I'm not going into, its 99.99% irreversible).

Typically takes 1-3 blocks to get first confirm. After that, every block found/creates adds another confirm. Thus, typically balance will reflect your bitcoin deposit to coinbase/exchange within 1-2 hours.
