Guy is getting exposed as < great 2-way player. Remember the Celt run LAST year + word about how they would be BETTER after they got healthier?

Blaming Irving while everyone forgetting to rail on Haywood. Does this seem fair???
I also have a major problem with coach Stevens. One trick pony coach. Irving just a scapegoat for Ainge's awful mismanagement.
Has all these high picks and doesn't do diddly squat at the deadline. Bad move!

I dont see them getting past the 2nd round, and anything short of a ECF appearance = blame game. Kyrie to New York, LA Lakers, LA Clippers?

The what if is Thomas with that young core...man wouldve been fun to see Tatum become the face and Hayward work into his own without Kyrie walking around with that 1 ring dripping probably regurgitating lessons he learned from James lol

I think Stevens has to take some blame here. For better or worse with Kyrie, the rest of the team outside of horford aren't playing hard

the "knowledge" in this thread is laughable...

Kyrie is a top player in the NBA. Release him? Lmao. There are many moving parts here. His attitude is garbage, and hes not meant to he a lead dog, that is obvious. This team is not better off without Kyrie though and anyone who thinks that is delusional. If they can hang onto Kyrie and land Davis, that is the main goal. That said, this team is going nowhere. The young guys like Brown, Tatum, even Rozier all are thinking they are way better than they are since they got overhyped due to last year

Cannot with a bad attitude even if you’re the best player that ever lived

We see how harden is superior to Irving

Few guys here should not be allow 2 talk basketball- consider what Irving can do in the playoff? While James harden chokes his whole career - comparing stephony 2 kyrie is laughable- only negative thing about Kyrie is he’s injury prone - when healthy he’s a top 5 offensive guy in the nba- can shoot and attack the basket consistently

1 vs 1 Irving is un-guardable. But as others have said he doesn't have leadership qualities and isn't fit to lead a team, or at least hasn't shown it this year. Maybe still time to get it together but doesn't look good.

He's similar to Harden in that he doesn't play well with others, or in a system. The system they ran is much more efficient with the other players.

He's need another start next to him to be great
