For sure, but two things can also be argued.
The first being prior to that QF match Raonic's opponents beat themselves which was pretty accurate, and the second being Novak lost sets he had no business losing.
But with that said Novak always seems to aim up more when it's the later stages, I remember one of his best years at slams he didn't cover the spread in rounds 1-4 but killed it in the QF onwards so there is that.
Also Pouille got lucky as all hell Raonic allowed one of his shots to sail in thinking it would go out at 40-30 on his serve in the 5th set. If he hit the winner volley like any smart player should have it would have been 5-5.
Not a guarantee it would have been a comeback but still
