The Chicago Bulls Are In Disarray!

    https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/a...eek-in-charge/

Interesting bit of news. New coach, they get a big win against OKC one night, then suffer the worst loss in franchise history the next night. Hmmmm?

The new Coach seems like a Grade-A Tool.

Tonight they welcome back Dunn and Portis, two key players. It will take them a little time to shake off the rust.

Tough call tonight, but I'm gonna lay down a small wager on visiting SACRAMENTO, who will try not to let an easy 'W' slip away.

Am I missing something here or are the players just being baby soft here? Coach calls for a couple practices in the week and benches starters for giving no effort in an embarrassing loss.

Rah-rah Coaches stand no chance in the NBA.

How dumb does this guy have to be to think that will work with millionaire hoop players who make 10x the money he does?!

Fellas, may I enlighten you on a few facts.

These Bulls are 6-21. SIX & TWENTY ONE.

Jim Boylen has been in the league since he graduated from University of Maine 33 years ago with a quick stop in college.

He has 3 rings. IMO he deserves a better shot than these players/org but he has to play the hand that is dealt to him.

He has forgotten more about the NBA than any poster here. Kindly give him more than 3 games to see if he can make a difference.

He's trying to be a super-star coach because he's on an interim deal/ coaching for his life. His players can see right through it. It started with him running them through suicide drills (right before a b2b set) because he didn't think they were in shape. Then calling them soft for being burned out on the 2nd night of the b2b set.

Unfair imo, as they have been battling with a depleted roster for weeks. Why do they want to win anyway? lol

They ought to be in better shape than the Kings, given that their main guys didn't play much last time, and they've been sleeping in their own beds. Dunn & Portis sure to make a positive impact. Looks like it could go either way to me.

He's not wrong to bench some of the losers that have been doing well statistically.

Zach lavine is and will forever be a career loser. Stat stuffer on a 20 win team is his ceiling

Jabroni Parker another loser, the guy is allergic to defense and eats more donuts than the blue pigs on city payroll

The only bright spots are Wendell Carter and Lauri markannen going forward. Bobby portis and Dunn are serviceable

The new coach is doing nothing wrong, the current starters are losing NBA players

I don't like Parker either, but what's wrong with Lavine? They can win with him I think.

This is a bad roster. At some point Paxson and Foreman need to be held accountable for constructing this mess and keeping Hoiberg for a year and a half too long.

Aside from Carter and Lauri they should have everyone on the trading block.

He's a bad version of Jamaal Crawford. Horrible plus minus and requires everyone to stand around and watch him beg the refs for charity to be effective. Offers zero resistance on defense and his efficiency is trash for all the stand around one on one tempo killing he requires

Let's just put it this way, Minnesota passed on him in favor of Andrew Wiggins. Andrew fukking Wiggins. Enough said

if the bulls coach does something stupid again that embarrasses these modern day players they will probably just quit and tank the rest of the game, what do they have to play for on a 6-21 team?

thinking about making a 2 unit play on the Kings

they may be on the court and trying to play tonight, going thru the motions... but in the back of their minds don't care if they get killed again and again if it leads to getting rid of him

i see the Bulls putting up 15 first q points.

remember when they had a big first half lead on the Bucks then got destroyed after halftime? they followed that up by being killed the next game too

so what will the bulls do after being beat by 56? probably lose by 20 since the kings aren't defensive gurus

kings got really hot...down 9 fox stole couple balls and finished on the other end and hit 3..then he drained another 2,3 deep ones..hield hit 2 and they took 6,7 pt lead.. bulls offense was bad at that time and kings just ran them out of the gym....kings are talented they just make a lot of mental errors..

Sixers assistant coach Ime Udoka is currently the favorite to become the Bulls‘ new head coach, according to Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times.

With the NBA’s 22-team for resuming the 2019/20 campaign approved, Chicago is now in the offseason stage as the organization will not travel to Orlando. As we relayed last month, current head coach Jim Boylen appears to be on the hot seat and that the Bulls would approve a new hire should Arturas Karnisovas and Marc Eversley choose to do so.

Udoka, 42, enjoyed a seven-year NBA career that ended in 2011 after suiting up for the Spurs, Trail Blazers, Kings, Knicks and Lakers. He joined Gregg Popovich‘s staff in San Antonio for seven seasons before joining the Sixers. Udoka was also interviewed for head coach with the Cavaliers before the job was given to John Beilen.

Chicago has failed to crack 30 wins since 2017, the same year they made their most recent playoff appearance. Under Boylen, the Bulls were 22-43 before the coronavirus pandemic suspended play. As Chicago readies for next season, hiring a coach that can take an inexperienced team with youth and potential back into contention will be key.

They're going for a black coach because they caught a lot of flack for not interviewing a white guy for the top job -that coupled with the recent public mood/ frenzy.

Boylen is an idiot but you can't make such an important decision based on colour of skin. Udoka was basically a 3&D forward that had a relatively short NBA career. Doesn't have any experience as a head coach.

Better off trying to poach someone from NCAA or Europe imo -someone with experience as a HC.

Kevin Ollie for instance. He has the right skin colour too! Many great coaches in Europe... no team has ever hired a European coach from a European league, which is a disgrace! Fully qualified & experienced coaches not just some former player/ recent assistant holding a clipboard.
