Wow. I took Oregon live down 5 late and thought they were going to pull it out when they tied it with a few minutes to go. Credit to Texas Southern, they hung in there. Biggest upset of the young season I would think.
They got a history of doing this... I know. Texas Southern came into the Breslin Center in December of ‘14 and beat a ranked MSU squad as 20+ point underdogs. I was at the game with my wife and was livid and said something like ‘well this season is over, MSU won’t even make the tourney!’ She got so upset cuz she bought me Final Four tix for Christmas already. Well then MSU went on a magical run so we could see them play in the Final Four in Indy a few months later!
THey usually play 10+ big name programs on the road each year........they are due to take 1 of them, as they are a decent squad, who seems to make the Dance often.
