yes and I did not think the Padres would be interested in Mejia but you nailed it. I did read that the Indians have been using Mejia at various positions(C, OF, 3B) so it makes more sense now.

According to MLB.com rankings, the Padres now have 10 of the top 98 prospects and 7 of the top 42

Indians bullpen could turn into a strength now once Miller comes back.
