    The Biggest Bet You Ever Made

    $100,000 on Cigar..I owed 68k on my house (its worth 1.2 mil now) and decided to pay it off by putting 100k on Cigar...

    You can hear my wife screaming as he crosses the finish line... I fell to my knees when he was at the 16th pole..Someone thought I had a heart attack and was trying to help me.. I was fine

    Did'nt want to fly home with the cash so we did a one way rental ( Lincoln continental) drove home with a 2 day stop in the greatest city in the world, Chicago. Oh that was a great week that was

    I'm all alone..My wife is in Vegas talking care of my parents, my dad fell down...I got nothin else to do- I had to come back from there cause i'm getting new siding put on one side of the house where the woodpeckers pecked some holes..I had to schedule this work 6 weeks out and didn't want to cancel..

    John Henry is my favorite..I was on the roof at the First Arlington Million- When I saw him come down the tunnel the first time I couldnt believe it, he looked like a bow legged donkey- Bill Shoemaker looked like a normal sized man on top of him and I regretted betting on him. He started at Delta Downs, a track that is so bush league that they had $400 races.     These are all pretty big bets...Anything over 5k, I don't watch live.. I get the score, then watch the replay on DVR..One time I put 16k on Southern Miss over Marshall in basketball.. Minus something small.. We were at Red n Jerry's and I decide to glance at my phone during dinner..It was like 58-12 at the half...Something ridiculous like that... ... I thought I had my poker face on, but my wife was like "whats up" and i'm like "nothin"

    $500 x 12 books.... 6 gees put up...

    Did that maybe 5 or 6 times in the past few years... Although I may have only been on 8 or 10 books back then, can't be sure?.. Hit 3 separate $500 bets on all books in one night in a MMA UFC event and they were all dogs too.. I just went for it that night thinking 2 of 3 would land and all 3 landed... Best UFC event win for money in my gambling career to date.. Walked away with nearly 30 grand in profits that night a few years ago. Was celebrating big time.. Haven't had a night like that since...

    I posted pending in that event in the SBR UFC section as well. It's in the SBR history a couple years ago.. It was at a time when T-Wood the UFC champ was a dog..

    I found it - These were the hits X 8 books at the time with one event... Copy and paste..

    I was in Vegas over New Years back when Vince young led longhorns beat usc. Was having pretty good weekend on nfl and other bowls (not so much at the tables) so decided to let all my winning plus some what I brought to lose ride on Texas, was 8k split between spread (+7 for 5k) and the money line, ended up winning little over 11k. Best part was it was such a amazing game with bunch of back and forth emotion, the sports book was jumping!! Couldn’t have picked a better game to be by far biggest bet of my life. That was such a great week overall just enjoyment wise. That was 2nd of 2 New Years in a row I spent in Vegas, if memory serves me right the prior year I cashed a pretty decent bet on Texas vs Michigan but not for as much. That was back when I blew money like it was going out of style, for most part feel foolish about it but I really did enjoy my 20s st least!! Lol
