Blindly tailing -250 alleged fixes on betting forums can be dangerous for the bankroll. So I guess no?

If you would said that in the first post, people would probably have taken this pick much more seriously. Myself included

-300 odd. you can blindly bet these odds and hit 70% and still lose.

win is a win and it was a close call but even if i seen this post on time i wouldn't have bet it at these odds.

guy wasn't 100 sure. guy had engagemnts coming up in toronto later in the week sure. but he still played to win and almost won. toronto engagment next week has zero effect because he is not expected to past 1st round since the opponent will be high seed player. he would have made close to 50k for making 1st round, so he wasn't going to tank.

the best play today was riske as a dog against flipkens. shocking odds. i hit it for 1k in pinnacle. flipkens played a 3 set marathon because of postponed match earlier in the day and was playing riske as the double header. can't belive i got +119 on riske on that match. i wanted to bet more but i thought it was a trap or maybe riske was going to tank to go to paris early..

I'm not completely sure what the limits were at pinny for 3rd round of qualifiers. My guess is around 2k to win. So you could place 5k risk on kovalik per pop. Because you can rebet it with Pinnacle in couple of seconds, once they adjust the line. In theory, you could bet 40k there on anything (never tried it, so can't be sure). But the line movement would reflect that kind of money coming in on one side, and imho it doesn't in this case.

Yeah 50k is huge for guys that mostly play challengers. You could win 5 challenger titles and still fail to accumulate 50k.

    Nice hit with Riske. Congratulations
There was value with her, but I didn't find the odds shocking. She played a double-header as well. Was on court for 2 hours earlier that morning, before Cirstea retired the match with what it appeared like a thigh injury. And Sorana was in control up until that injury.
And on the other side, Flipkens came from an impressive win over Bertens, who is a really good clay court player. But yeah, at 32 she probably had more issues recovering in time for that second match. Glad that you managed to cash on that.

no not at all i didnt even watch it to be honest, and i wont be sweating tuesday.

honeybadger only got down around 18k cad at pinny before the line moved took a jump to around 15 pts. (you seem to know alot but i dont think you are properly informed)

the bets were spread across 7 different books. When your a canadian bettor its much easier to move and spread out funds among the books.

If you took 15k profit, I really am happy for you. I was just saying that from what I know, it's tough to place 40k on a qualifiers match, even if it's spread around. Because many books don't even have that offered and other will cap you to 600 bucs or ,for small market like that one.

Dan im sure your a winning bettor. you seem very intelligent.

    Answer fairly.

If you made a decent 6 figure salary doing what you love to do..... Would you miss the date of your daughter?....sister?....best friend getting married? Just to make an extra 50k?

He got in either way as a lucky loser. I don't know if they still get paid for that or not as i don't know how the prize distribution works.

He does get paid. But he didn't know that he'll make it as a lucky loser. Even with certain information about withdraws from main draw, you cannot be certain that you are getting in because of your higher ranking. Because they randomly select lucky losers to fill the remaining spots in main draw. For example, if there are 4 spots open, they'll take 10 guys with highest rankings, put their names in a bowl and randomly select 4 lucky losers. Maybe I was not most accurate with this example, but it's something like that.
