I am by no means a "baseball" guy. As a kid, sure. The Redsox were a big part of growing up in Boston in the 70s/80s.

The 162 is just too much and too long for me to give a shit. Hardly watched the last World Series the Sox.won.

I always was a fan of Ichiro. A guy who seemed to have a great understanding of hitting and bat control.
Ran like a cheetah. AND an all-time glove and arm.
Always wondered why the Sox/Yankees never made a stronger move to get him?

If he came here as a 19/20 Y.O. and played on the right team with better hitters surrounding him,
I think he would have ripped all the records up.

Never saw him at BP, but I heard that he put on an absolute show on occasion knocking them out.

On top of all that, he is known as a world class pu**y hound.
