Sure. Let’s look at the game tomorrow for example.
The line for the Buck’s is -3. So you take the Bucks tomorrow for $100. If they cover you get $190 back.
Now let’s take a prop bet on the bucks for say $30 to win by 1-2, you get that at +900, so if they win by 1-2 you get, $300 back. Then you can also play nuggets to win by 1-2 at +1000, and if that wins, you get $330 back. You essentially just bought yourself 5 points. And you win more if they don’t cover the spread but the prop bet hits.

total bets are $160
if the spread hits you net $30, prop 1 hits you net $130, prop 2 hits, you net $170. Just a thought. I would even consider playing the -3 down to 2.5 just Incase. If you played it down to 2.5, you would net $20 winnings.

The money will come from the plays that miss by less than 5 points. Yes, there is a chance you lose it all but you only lose $60 more than you would have and you have extra points to play with

Listen guys, it’s not about taking 1/2 point. But look at the numbers once the nba games come back around. I will post my odds for games on Thursday so you can see my rationale. I’ll use real numbers, which I have done on an excel spreadsheet that I will send to anyone who emails me at donnierparker@icloud.com
To me, it makes absolute since. There is nothing worse than playing a game at -2.5 and the team winning by 2 and you losing. You can essentially tease your play 4 points and if your original bet wins, you will win, but if the team you bet on wins or loses by 1-2 points, it doesn’t matter which way if you play it as I suggested, you have +900 or +1000 odds.

again, anyone interest, email me and I will send you the spreadsheet I spent hours creating. This will only work in games that the spread is 3 or less for the +900 to +1000 odds. You can still cover your bets on other props under the line however.

Again, I will show proof via nba games on Friday within that spread range

here is a screen shot from the bucks game the other night. Bucks were a 3 point favorite. If bucks win by 1-2 your odds are +1000. It doesn’t show in the image but if the bucks lost by 1-2 you have +900 odds. Seems a little silly to me but I am certainly going to play it on every opportunity I get.

Agreed. In this example, with the original spread bet, you're risk is essentially $160 to win $30. Terrible odds. If the Bucks win by 3 you lose the $60 in props, if either team wins by 1-2 it's decent, definitely not good when you look at the odds though. 1-2 point games in basketball can be tough with fouling.
