Dolores O'Riordan (The Cranberries vocalist) dead at 46

If you’re between 38 and 50 years old you remember how HUGH The Cranberries were.

They had some great songs but they stood out because of her voice.

No cause of death released. She was in London recording.

I was a kid but I was a fan... Zombie, Salvation, Linger, lots of good tunes.

It was also one of my HS girlfriends fave band, I basically had to like em and listen often lol

I have not seen this many "sudden" deaths as I have in recent months. It is mind blowing...

They were huge when I was in college mid-90's. Her and Shirley Manson as Irish rock goddesses.

As an emotional little teenager, I ran away from home one time. Was gone for about a day. Heard "Ode To my Family" on the radio, and decided I should probably go home.

So thanks for that, Dolores. RIP.

Every time I hear their music I remember a lot of great memories. A gf back in college that she'd put them on every time we'd penetrate, girl was a freak. Now every time Im with mrs krak and I hear their music I turn red, she has no clue why. I remember one girl in particular in Denver, we heard a Cranberries cover band in the bar and had one of the greatest nights of my life. Well, one of the greatest weekends.

Too bad, RIP but the music lives on as do the memories

Also heard Mike Masse and Jeff hall + some rando chick do a cover of LInger at Pie Pizzeria in Salt Lake City

    LOL good stuff Ralphie

I for one remember their power power song Salvation, with a very clear anti cocaine message

Video was kinda creepy as I was like 9-10 years old...

no word yet on what led to this tragedy.
she was bipolar and struggled with highs and lows....she tried to control the swings with medication.....hope this wasn't of her own doing.

either way...it's sad very sad, three young children and one step child has lost their mom.

She also had back pain. Sudden kidney failure from prescribed NSAID's have become a trend.
