I stay fairly disconnected from all things government these days, honestly Canada's current leader is such a soft weak figure that a guy like Trump would actually be an upgrade. This guy Justin Trudeu will be getting walked on by everyone, he just passed an insane bill that is basically the opposite of a bailout. They are calling it a bail-in, it involves the banks being able to hold onto our money when the real estate market crashes. So they will buy stocks of their own bank for u with your money and then u will loose the $ u had invested because the bank stocks drop as a result of the crash. And the worst part is half of canadians have no idea this was passed, our system is a mess.

Honestly Canada is still so rural that I would have to disagree, think about it my country is so spread out and the population in these areas don't desire an experience in a big town little lone a big city. Most of these rural areas are way behind the times as in they are still driving an Oldsmobile cutlass and leaving it running and unlocked while they run into the general store. This old-school section of Canada does not like change and are set in their ways. I think that in the heavily populated cities u would have more ppl wishing our country could emulate some of the great things that u guys have had and still have. Now getting them to admit that is another thing because as u are well aware the perception of your country by the world is not great currently whether based on facts or not. Personally I have a great respect for the United States and always will as my family has faught in both world wars and I have enough of an understanding about the history of America to not be that naive
