no they changed the rule a couple of years ago, remember?...now you have to complete the catch all the way through regardless of where you are on the field...yes, years ago that would have been a TD.

The ground can't cause a fumble, but it can cause a pass to be declared incomplete. It definitely moved and was on the ground when he had twos hands on it and reached for the goal line.

i hate the rule, but given the bullshit that it is, the pass was definitely "incomplete".... rule usually fuks me, this time it didn't make any difference, as I hate both teams, but it was clear that ruling was coming....

I'll try to find the view showing the ball clearly hitting the ground but I didn't see it

It looked Inconclusive to me...maybe his arm and maybe the ground but no CLEAR view

The ball can bobble all fukkin day as long as it doesnt touch the ground

Debatable under current rules. He caught it, knee down, reached out, and the second it crossed the goal line should be a TD. Even better, the defender touched him with his knee down so he is immediately down with ball across - again, TD. Finally, I’m not sure the ball touched the ground when it was bobbled.

Anyways, NFL NEEDS TO CHANGE THE STUPID RULES. Who cares if a ball is bobbled? Who cares if the catcher holds the ball for 1 step or 3 steps? Do these awful rules do anything to improve the game for the fans? No! Make the rules common sense catch or no catch based on traditional logic.

Cannot underestimate how that call completely changed the landscape of the AFC. Patriots were looking a 3 seed dead in the face. Now they’ll probably get the 1. Unreal.

Had control and crossed the plain of the goal line.. Knee was down even when the ball was controlled and then crossed the goal line after.. I saw it the other way..

At home in that situation with it already ruled a TD I don't think you over turn that.. I don't care who I was betting on either.. I basically didn't have money riding on it at that point so I could keep an honest and open opinion about that..

Yea seemed like a catch, not an incompletion. He had caught it already and had possession of it, turned, dove, hit the ground and wobbled a bit and if you wanna call it a fumble fine but he recovered it.

Pats suck. They get ALL the calls. They get all the breaks. If Brown doesn`t get hurt, Steelers take them to the woodshed.

How can that be called incomplete. We saw him catch it, right???

What is with that Gronk dude going for 135 second half...he sucks too.

Bookies MUST have fixed this game..

by completing the catch he has to maintain possession all the way through regardless of he broke the goal line or not...yes, it's fukked up because a RB is allowed to break the plane and it's automatically a TD but a WR has to follow through all the way.

guy this is what you do

    1. do you think anyone gives 1 flying fukk what you bet after the game ends? you do this a lot

    2. when an mlb teams wins 8+ in a row, you make a thread saying "keep riding team xxx, i have been on them for a while". you do this a lot

    3. your write-ups belong on a sports lover forum, not a betting forum. you remind me of vegas dave...a lot of words, but not actually saying anything

keep these points in mind as they are just helpful tips

Same call as the Dez catch against Green Bay in the playoffs. Crappy call, but at least they were consistent. Most people would have called both of those catches TDs, but not the NFL.

    who cares

it is considered a catch if you have 2 feet down, elbow down, or knee down

after that, ok you can go to a football move

he had knee down and made a football move with the ball

worst case scenario should be ball at 1 inch line

but in reality, if he lost control, it should be a catch, fumble, and gains control of ball in endzone

    THANKS

Ball clearly is moving when it hits the ground. He never completed the catch.
