    Lol! Once their paychecks are guaranteed in millions, they will hardly care about their performance on the field, not to mention NFL in which players are prone to serious injuries.     I totally agree, and am careful to pull the after the fact analysis, but when a play goes that bad, how do you not question it? Devonta Freeman was rolling through NE and on 3rd and 1 / 4th and 1 they pass and run a WR end around? For 1 yard? That deserves major criticism if it doesn't work, and it didn't.

    He never was anything more than a good qb. Not great. He won the mvp last season because league didn't want to reward Brady after suspending him to start season. Anyone who bought into the Atl/Ryan Kool Aid as an elite qb/team deserved to have a lighter wallet.
