    As someone who was blessed to meet pete many times. Played on all star teams for his brother dave. He deserves in the hall of fame the day he dies. There was a reason he had to go many states over to gamble. He was a dead beat. He came into a bar on the west side. He was getting his car serviced. He said buy everyone a round. The guy that owned the bar was named gunderson and everyone called him gunny. Gunny told him the price and he said you don't expect me to pay for it. gunny said yeah so he gets a check and gives it to gunny and said to not cash it because it would be worth more with his auto than would be if he cashed it. I also played flag football against him. Whenever he goes into cinti he eats at price hill chili. There are a lot of people loyal to pete in cincy but he had a bunch of detractors. That was what was great about growing up in the 70's in cinti. It was a small town for a big city
