The sickness is pretty strong tonight...

I had a pretty hefty play earlier today on the Reds, which ended up losing in pretty excruciating fashion.

So at this point I'm pretty pissed, and contemplating whether or not I'm going to unload on one of the two late games. After trying to talk myself out of playing anything, I finally decide - yeah, I need to get that money back pronto.

I decide to bet the Twins for one shiny BTC.

It got sent from blockchain to Nitro at 9:53 EST, and for whatever reason it didn't get confirmed in time, and no bet got made. (Is there a way to speed this up in the future?)

Anyway, now I'm rooting like hell for the Angels. Praying the Twins lose. It's like having action without having action. It's a sickness.

You find a husband yet Giant?

Probably best that it didn't happen, although if I had to bet that game I would have been on the Twins too.

Donuts, you were less annoying before procreating. Get your little weenie snipped before you become completely insufferable.

Only way really is to increase the fee sent from blockchain. Same shit happens to me sometimes and then u have to sit there and root for the opposite of what u were going to do. Very tilting. I will say I even sent like an astronomical $7 fee on a $55 transaction last week and it still took almost 30 minutes for 1 Confirmation on nitrogen. And the transaction size was only 192 bytes so the fee ratio was huge...check this site out next time before sending: bitcoin fees.21.co (not .com)

Your wife is nine months pregnant and you're out traveling? Yeah, you really want kids.Read up on Scott Peterson. He almost pulled it off, I believe you can do it.

I've heard this before, but I don't even know how to change the fee. How do I do it??

You put in the sending address and the amount and hit the send arrow. The next screens asks you to confirm and there should be an advanced option that u can click on to change the fee to whatever you want. When you change it blockchain will give u warning saying the fee u put is too high and unnecessary but don't listen to this.

Yeah, once I click continue, it shows the next page where I confirm and there is already a transaction fee involved. I don't see anywhere where I can change the number. The only thing I can click on is the "send" button.

Nevermind, I see it now. The "advanced send". Thanks, this might help in the future.

Yep looks like it may have worked out this time in your favor. Anyways the bitcoin subforum on here is extremely helpful, I check it everyday. Some good knowledge from a few of the regular posters there. Thanks for the points.

It is a good forum, and I do read it on occasion. That guy Raiders is a must read in whatever he says.

Hardly an expert, I pretty much just know the basics. I've only transferred once back to my bank, I'm leaving everything in the blockchain. I'm sitting on quite a few BTC right now, just waiting for the hackers to come and steal them all.

This feels like a big win, Manny, even though it's really not.

I'm not sure how Plum originated, to be honest. You'd have to ask Diggity. He bestowed it upon me.

Raiders is a Bitcoin Guru. There's a thread that he said... if you send $0.30 more than Blockchain's default at that particular time... it should get there within 15 minutes. I tried it twice... 9 minutes and 12 minutes... so it must be working.
