Russell Westbrook and Chris Paul are among the group of players working out with LeBron, Derrick Rose and Eric Bledsoe in Vegas right now.

I'd prefer to hit Mega Millions or Powerball and move there and play poker as a hobby than do it for a living.

If Vegas books ever got their act together or if 1 guy would open a book/ lounge out there with the same number of odds and options that online has then yes, I'd be on the next flight.

The old traditional board method of Vegas sucks and I get sick of sitting next to drunk Aholes screaming obscenities because a college kid hit a 3 at the end to bury their square Duke -26 bet for $20.

I'd open a classy book lounge, $100 min bet, all the online options, and I'd take ************ w a 5% surcharge, and pay out on the same card or in cash.

Just saw this thread for the first time-interested

I've lived out here for 4 years
Average 30-35 hours a week at job

thought crosses my mind a lot(gambling for a living)

Personally, for me, the only way I think I can do it is through horses.
Been studying that, and really want to learn more.

sports: I know I can't make a living on sports.
The reason why is I don't wager enough.
I can't wager four figures or higher without getting nervous. No stomach for it.

Been doing good with horses lately.
All my bills are paid through until March.
So, right now, all the money I make at work, I burn on betting horses

Also, I got to work on my drinking problem some of you guys have seen my drunk posts
If I polish up, I think I got a chance of living the dream

The dream of moving to Vegas is outdated - the new dream is living where ever the fuk you want to live not working 9-5 because you make enough money gambling. Vegas will never be able to offer what offshore has, they have more overhead and you will never be able to bet opener as fast as you online.

I agree with this. I'm whom heartedly disappointed in how the city father's have failed to keep that element away from the tourist areas let alone the complete depravity that sits within the county. Serious rezoning and trespassing enforcement needs to take place to being that city back to a clean and hospitable spot. And enough with the malls attached to casinos, they are empty and overpriced and just hangouts for thugs.

Sad the state if decline Vegas is in and I blame all the California trash going there every weekend with their gangs and their kids and their obnoxious treatment if the city as their trash can.

You would need a minimum of at least 100k.

Like any business, you need to cover overhead until you get established/ profitable.

If you can't win online, you ain't gonna make it in sin city.

Agreed, there are simply not enough value bets, nor live action bets, to make it in Vegas.

Perfect example. Last night I get Hou +450 live start of 4th qtr down 10. Those bets make or break your week if you can hit two or three of them at those odds. Vegas 2nd half ML on You was -200. Big difference.
