    How many of you make 100 k or more at ur job

    Just wondering how many people pull in 100k or more working. I'm at 72k will be making 110 in a few years

    i did before the stroke. Was doing so well that company changed contract on me 3 times trying to cut my money.

    90-95 should break 100k this year though been putting in 80 hour weeks....Saturday 18 hours made 1k

    This is not every week but 7 12's for 21 days straight then 1 day off is not out the norm jay the work has to be done most of it state contracts they pay......life become a viscous blur at that point.

    Base is 85k, generally $15k in OT and $5-10k in call back

    I think I've made very low six figures the last 8 years

    I got an offer from a hospital in san fran for $115k base salary for 9 months, OT and Call would be in addition to that.

    Problem is, rent for a 2/2 is anywhere from $4-10k/month and not many places take on a 9 month lease

    More earnings get taxed more better to fall under a good tax bracket with less percentage taken off

    the only place remotely affordable is the presidio.. my friend makes like 120k a year and it is the only place he can afford..

    i used to live in san jose.. had a sick 3 bedroom house 2 car garage and a huge backyard.. half a block from santana row.. 5-6 years ago my rent was 2700 or so.. now that same house is probably 6k

    Thats true cost of living is lower here but wages are lower than say ny or cali....i guess it balances out

    The higher percentage for a new bracket is only for the amount made above the range of the lower bracket.
