Why Is Everyone Talking About Calvin Johnson's Contract With Detroit?

Guy signed a long term deal in 2012.

Everyone speculating he will redo the deal to save cap space.

But if you're Johnson... why would you?

And why would everyone pressure you to?

I don't understand why the media has to start sh#$ for?

    Just another headache for Detroit.

If it would make a difference in Detroit producing a winner then I could see him doing it. The thing is with Green Bay and Minnesota in the division, that isn't happening any time soon. Calvin should stand his ground.

Ungodly cap hit for a team with a ton of holes to fill.

I guess at the time... in 2012 you wanted to sell seats at Ford Field... ok.. sign him.

But, just like RM18 said... no production based on salary. I 100% agree.

I still think Detroit will sell tickets without him. But public opinion would probably be 50/50.

Johnson probably has 1 more good year in him. After that... any athlete is injury prone.

I just hate seeing this a topic for the entire off-season in Detroit.
