another good loss for the Lakers' future

gotta finish bottom 3 to keep their draft pick this year

now 0-4, including 0-3 at home.. keep those losses coming

draft picks don't mean anything these days unless you already have a solidified veteran roster in place (i.e. the spurs). the 76ers have had a top 3 pick in the draft for like 6 years straight......

it's really hard to build a team only through the draft. there's only 1 superstar in each draft that can carry a franchise like once every 5 years maybe.

i think lakers just don't have any wing defenders, no paint d. hibbert is washed up too.

lakers have no one that can attack the paint off the dribble.

way too many 1 on 1 players

Even if they were to finish with the worst record in the league, they would only have a 64% chance at keeping the pick. Obviously that number goes lower the higher they get.

What a disaster this team is.

They will get durant or Westbrook for sure but idk if that is gonna mean anything. What a fukin train wreck this team is. Russel isn't gonna amount to anything Hibbert is god awful Randle hasn't done shit and Kobe is old which kills me to say. Like I said they will regret not taking Okafor which is all they needed for future with Westbrook more than likely coming.

lakers will be fine if they can pick top 3 for the next 2 drafts. they'll land a very good coach at that point and the front office will be redone.

they'll also have no foolish contracts on the books and will be able to sign a couple max guys or obtain via trade with a couple of their young assets.

trust me, once Kobe is gone, top FA's and coaches will love to come to the Lakers again.

What benefit does Durant have of going to LA? He'll just have to pay 15% to the state. Cali offers him nothing now. It's a different world these athletes live in, they don't need to be in big markets anymore.

Westbrook is a different story and I could see him going to LA. He's still #2 in OKC right now but he's arguable a top 10 player. He'd easily be LA's #1 for the forseeable future, get his own mega deals, basically get out of KD's shadow. Plus he played college ball in UCLA.

But I wouldn't be surprised if both stayed, but if either goes, it's RW.

Like I told prick, when you bet on bad teams, you get bad results. Can't be mad when a bad team loses and can't cover, they suck. Not their fault.

Jay you're a good guy. Always point out the silver lining.

I read recently that successful people are always encouraging and positive, they're constantly helping others out. Miserable people are always tearing others down and talking behind everyone elses back.

I'd say by this definition, you're likely a successful person

who cares that they're a disaster right now? i sure don't. don't get caught up in nonsense like wanting to see Kobe in the playoffs one more time. they don't have more than 3-5 guys on the current roster who will even be with the team past next season anyway, so it's all just filler right now.

only thing Lakers need to do is continue losing games and everything else will start falling into place, don't fret about the interim. root for them to lose every game, pretty simple.

unfortunately this is how fans are thinking now.. oh lets hope our team tanks and we land a top 3 pick and everything will be better. Its just not how it works. Look at these drafts, very few players that are turning into or going to turn into great players that a franchise can build around.
2014-wiggins, parker, embid(all three of these guys are very flawed. Parker probably has the most potential if hes okay after the knee inury. Embid is worthless and is greg oden 2.0)
2013-Bennett, oladipo, porter( bennett is the biggest waste of space, oladipo has some talent but hes never going to be the face of a team that is successful and porter is a decent role player)
2012-Davis, Gilchrist, Beal(Davis is a star, gilchrist is good defensively but is not a scorer and is also out for the year, Beal decent but not a game changer)
    2011-Irving, Williams, Kanter(just irving here)
    2010-Wall, Turner, Favors(just Wall)

So there it is on average 1 pick out of the top 3 is a success and you trade that as a fan for losing seasons. The good teams know how to build and rebuild without just straight tanking it. But these NBA teams make a ton of money even if they put out a losing team but they know how to spin it so the fan base buys into their retarded logic. Anyone who cheers for their team to tank is as dumb as sixers fans who will wonder in ten years why their team still sucks

Boy u nuts if u bet on LAL. I live in l.a. cant watch one game too painful. Teams can drop 110 on them with blindfolds on. Cant play a lick on D. I think they don't break 15 wins this year.
