    His account is on-line, but all moneys are transacted face to face.

    His bookie will text him if he is +/- $5000.
    They meet at his local bar, and if he is laying, the book will buy him a few drinks and a sandwich.
    If he is collecting, the book still buys him lunch and a few Manhattans.

    Online these days and then we meet at my mail box..

    Back in the day when there were actual bookies floating around they would come over to my apartment for payouts or collections once a week. Pick up the phone and place the bets daily was the method.. Always cool guys that I never had a problem with..

    I miss those old days, getting paid was never a problem and it was always in cash.. Not like today when checks come in the mail if they come at all with some of the online books..
