That's what I mean by sharp Mag. Can't lose if you don't bet.
JJ will start feeling it again.

It's funny as baseball has games all the time and teams play every day and we claim we actually like a team such and such each night

If the Cards don't beat the Phils tonight I'll let JJ rub his balls on my head. Phillippe Aumont with his first career start for the Fightin' Phils. He hasn't got a chance. Even with St. Louis struggling at the plate, this is easy money.

Since opening day a giant mountain of statistics has been growing. As the oddsmakers themselves are scrambling early on to adjust to factors bettors are using that aren’t statistically based (usually relatively unsophisticated money), sharper bettors are beginning to make use of the growing collection of stats.

At this stage, lines could be considered softer, as the public factors are inconsistent and non-predictive.

As the oddsmakers get sharper with the openers, the bookmakers get much better direction from public feedback and the lines get sharper.

The bottom line, there is marketplace that has finally caught up to the bettors and average and worse than average bettors are starting to get overtaken. It actually started in May, but now many are feeling the effects of a shakeout.

During this type of market environment, poor money management, lack of discipline, and the inability to create one’s own money line to gauge the market are all factors that can contribute to the current slump.

As it is in other financial markets, every market environment has its winners too. There is an ebb and flow. It is very difficult to navigate every market shift and always come out a winner.

Tracking your bets, why you made them and the results, can shed light on how you are doing in each type of market. I’ve said it before, your bets, and why you made them make up information that is unique to you, even the most well run syndicates aren’t privy.

Good luck and bet so that you are here for the long haul.

I'd take the unexpected over the "every thing I know is wrong" market any day. At least when it is unexpected, you can sniff out the least expected plays. When "every thing you know is wrong," a sort of regression if you will, it can be a real shot to your confidence.
