    NBA Finals MVP....so far

I would be curious to see who everyone thought MVP was so far after game 4? Does your opinion change if one team wins or not?

Through 4. Obviously lebron if Cleveland wins. If golden state wins still may be lebron but from golden state I would go with IGGy even though NBA probably wouldn't pick anyone but lebron or curry.

Would love to see other opinions.

Yah I feel like nobody talked about him until today. It's refreshing to think a person other than curry or lebron has a chance

Extra day of rest helps the Cavs tremendously.

If Cavs win, Lebron is MVP.

If GS wins, it could go to whoever rises up in game 6/7, Steph? Klay? Andre? Draymond? If nobody really steps up and they win as a team with bench production and team defense, they probably just hand it to Steph by default. But I keep rolling around the possibility that Lebron could get the MVP in a losing effort if he books another 40/10/10 type game in a heroic losing effort in game 7.

stephanie has yet to show up but not out of it. klay not out of it either.

everyone talking about the "brilliant" move starting iggy so you have that.

its really up for grabs for any warrior that stands out, maybe now that cleve is dead stephanie will rock out since the pressure is off, crazy as that sounds since its just 2-2.

King James without a doubt. the fact is the moment he goes off the court you can see how crappy the Cavs play without him. regardless what anyone says the reality is Cavs would win this series if they were healthy

Iggy is the most underrated player in all of basketball in my opinion.

Could (and maybe should) start on most other teams in the league. He is elite defender. Can knock down open 3s and has the athletic ability to get to the rim and finish.

You can get not(Lebron/Steph) +520 @5Dimes. Much better value, basically getting the whole field, not just Iggy.

Even tho steph has been atrocious one 30 point game and it's probably his which sucks. I'm thinking Klay Thompson has a couple huge games and takes the MVP.

No way in hell will they give the MVP to a player on the losing team. Even if Lebron played 1 on 5, they're not going to do it.

I discussed this in depth a few days ago in some other thread.

This was the first ever NBA finals MVP award, and the lakers lost by 2 in game 7.

The nature of the award has changed since then.

Who's to say the cavs don't lose in similar fashion and Lebron is still the clearcut best performer?

Iggy has one good game and some guys consider him an Mvp candidate.

Same guys probably had Della for Mvp

As of right now it's easily LeBron, if curry somehow gets his shit together in the upcoming games, maybe him

This is true, I just think the fact it happened the first time and never since may mean they do not do it anymore. I am going to do some research on the subject right now and see if I can dig up whether or not a clear cut best performer has not won the award when they truly deserved it.

Iggy has played very well all series. He has been GS's most consistently good payer on both sides of the ball.

Wes Unseld won the award in 1978 and wasn't even close to the best player on his own team... wtf?

He was bested in every single stat by someone on his team. Averages 9/11/4 over 7 games...

Except in game 3 when I bet over 7.5 points on him and he only scored 7. That alone should take him out of the MVP conversation.

Happens in the super bowl all the time. The best performer better play on the winning team. Thurman Thomas was a monster in the Bills/Giants super bowl. A lock to win MVP until that kick sailed wide right. Next thing I know its OJ Anderson.

Well James was the obvious MVP for the regular season, if he didn't win that I have a hard time seeing him winnings Finals MVP if they lose.

Well apparently 5Dimes thinks MVP could come from losing team. Before finals it was +5000. Now it's +740
As for value of IGGy. He's at +490.
Everyone but lebron and curry is 450. IGGy has no value compared to that
