Its a tough one to call, because Kovalev is so good, but might have a letdown after the Hopkins fight in Pascal's hometown. I've got the over on the back end of a parlay from the Berto fight from the night before, but I could see Kovalev bombing him out, so its a long shot at best for me.

Pascal in best shape of his life. Never seen him this calm and collective. Having Jones with him and training huge ++. Won't be making a serious wager but at range (+500-550) will def grab the dog for a hundo.

Do you think Pascal's strategy will be to outpoint Kovalev since he's not really a heavy hitter?

read the whole thread, love it.

We all have an opinion, heres mine. gettn old and im long time fight fan. don't like Floyd. all he does is throw a few punches, and mostly backs up and runs. Oscar d clearly beat him, but it was left to the judges. what a joke. we all know there has been a lot of speculation of rigged and thrown fights through the years.

I hope Floyd loses, but I doubt it. No respect for anyone like Floyd who poses for pictures, sitting in front of a large stack of money

This will easily be my biggest bet of the year. Lay the wood all day on Floyd, he will not lose in a million years.
    Should be -600
    This is insane.
Mayweather will win 9-10 rounds out of 12, business as usual.
Agree in everything you said except the "best boxer of all time". Public are all over Pac lol. I want to thank them for bringing Floyd's price up.

i think Oascar might have hit him once the whole fight. Floyd made him look like a slow idiot most of the night. Floyd didn't do anything either but saying Oscar clearly won that fight is a little bit of a reach no? To me they both loss.

I think Roy Jones Jr said it best, Floyd is more dangerous and likely to stop Pacquiao today than 5 yrs ago. If you want to argue his legs aren't what they used to be, you're acknowledging he is going to have to use his power and stand in the pocket more. And for those thinking a slug fest favors Pacquiao, a few common opponents and sparring partners have said Floyd's power is at least equal, and we all know who has the better chin and defense.

This is not a terribly difficult fight to handicap. If I can find the time I will be releasing a 5,000 word write up.

If you think this fight is a tossup, I'd expect you to be hammering Pacquiao at +170.

I didn't know CJ Ross had an SBR posting account. Mayweather vs. DLH was not a hard fight to score.

Floyd doesn't run, he throws from the pocket and moves out of harm's way and counters. The object is to score and not get hit. Erislandy Lara runs. What Floyd does is not running.

Southpoint in Vegas has -175. Dont think it will go much lower than that.
I heard the Westgate took a mid 6 figure bet on Mayweather today.

-175 is low! I haven't seen anything below -200 yet. I think I'm going to wait for the last minute. Hopefully some Whales will drive the price down further on fight day.

homie1975, I didn't real through the whole thread but as a boxing fan, it is still cool to see the top 2 of their generation go at it, no? I'll be tuning in because it really is the top 2 welterweights of our time finally letting the fists do the talking on May 2.

Also, as a betting fan, Floyd -188 on Pinnacle. Free money!!! :P Win-win scenario for me.

Floyd is -138 in my book
    Manny @ +134

By the way the money on Pac is going in, i will not be surprised if Floyd is hovering around -130 before game time. Books are reporting that in every 6 bettors betting on Pac, 1 on Pretty Boy.

been hearing some money has been flowing in on Floyd. This may actually have to be called fair by the judges. I doubt it thou. That anti black anti cocky black money is usually big money. The key to this fight in my opinion is don't bet it. When it is over shut it down before the judges ruin the fight for ya with a shit decision. Shit decisions always benefit rematches. Shit decisions also always benefit the books in Vegas.

Oscar landed a little more then ten punches a round? Im assuming they count every time he cocks his hand and throws catching anything cause he might have hit him once on the chin and that was when he was bullying him and of course it didn't land flush. It was just a horrible fight. Nobody deserved to win but if it went down to style points Floyd took it 12-0 cause Oscar missed 600 punches. Manny is the only guy who has a legitimate chance to land some punches on Floyd. A young Shane Mosley had a chance but by the time he fought Floyd he was shop worn. Still almost knocked Floyd out but mysteriously stopped punching him after having him hurt.
