where is a good place to live in vegas or close to vegas?
I don't want to spend a lot of money and I don't want to live in a gang infested drug den. any thoughts? thanks in advance.i live on a fixed income so my options are kinda limited. i live i north Dakota and really want to move to a warmer climate. thanks for any input.

One of my favorite dive bars, right by there, Bottoms Up. Girls wear underwear, and drink with you. Neighborhood is run down, but you'll be okay if you keep to yourself.
Not glamourous, by any means.Westgate the closest of sportsbooks, but you will need a vehicle to get there.
San Jose is a great city to live in if you want to be close to vegas
the have a high rate of violent crimes and a high rate of break ins.
if you move there make sure you have a gun and make sure you arent afraid to fire it if someone bust in your door at 3am.
Henderson is a fairly decent place to stay but i prefer south lake tahoe.
you can still gamble on sports there.
If you really wanan live in downtown youll have to stay at hotels or a single hotel alot of the hotels you can get weekly or monthly rates but there will obviously be shady people or you can just find a hotel like hooters which is fairly cheap you stay for probally $900 a month or if you dont mind shady people you can find monthly hotel rates for around $650-$750 a month.Or if you want an actual apartment henderson or surounding city.I plan on staying at a hotel for 1 month this summer
